NewsSchedulerX historically defers to the audio device that DBM uses for playback.
That is; when you listen to an item in NewsSchedulerX's GUI list of planned audio items, it will by default play out over the device that you have configured for DBM playout (LocalSettings|DBM|MultiRec).

Sometimes it might be desirable that one route this NewsSchedulerX playback over a different audio device.
That's possible with a little manual configuration;

1. Open DBM and then it's Settings dialog; on the 'Local' tab you can choose the desired playback card.
2. Close the DBM after having chosen the desired card for NewsSchedulerX playback.
3. Open Admin.exe and then copy the parameter; LocalSettings|DBM|MultiRec|AudioBoardOut to LocalSettings|Studio
4. Open DBM again and reset the audio playout choice for DBM to the original device.

Now you should have separate devices used by each module!
