To activate the logfiles you have to insert the following parameters inside the vedit.ini (most in system32 folder) in the section [Settings] and in the DigasAdministrator!
Section inside DigasAdministrator: Multitrack\Settings

Parameter:
==========
DLLLogActive=1
DLLLogName=C:\Digas\Logging\MTE\Dll.log <- please use the same Path in Digas Administrator as in the vedit.ini file
MTLogActive=1
MTLogName=C:\Digas\Logging\MTE\main.log <- please use the same Path in Digas Administrator as in the vedit.ini file
PCXLogActive=1
PCXLogName=C:\Digas\Logging\MTE\PCX.log <- please use the same Path in Digas Administrator as in the vedit.ini file

Since the v4 Editors, a more comprehensive logging has been implemented that protocols the startup process as well. The settings are now therefore located in the corresponding INI file located in the C:\Windows directory (or in Windows7 and Vista in the directory C:\Users\[UserName] \AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Windows);

MultiTrack = vedit.ini
EasyTrack = easytrack.ini
SingleTrack = singletrack.ini

Furthermore, it is now possible to configure the logging for the audio engine as well as automatic cleanup processes. These parameters are in fact written by the Editor settings GUI, so it's not necessary to manually edit them in the INI file.

However, in the case of a fail-start of the application where logging is not activated, one can activate the logging in this section of the INI file;

Code:
[Logging]
ProgrammActive=0
ProgrammDirectory=[valid path]
ProgrammFilename=EasyTrack_4_
ProgrammDelete=0
ProgrammDeleteDays=3
MultiRecActive=0
MultiRecDirectory=[valid path]
MultiRecFilename=EasyTrack_4_MultiRec_2_
MultiRecDelete=0
MultiRecDeleteDays=3

If your Logging section of the GUI settings is not servicable (greyed-out), then it is quite likely that the Objects|Actions|Auto_Change_Logging is not entered or this right not available to the user. If the action does not exist in the list of available actions then even the Admin user will not have access to the settings in which case it is essential to enter this as a new action.
